Watermark Settings

ShowingHero's watermark feature helps deter unauthorized use or theft of images by providing:

1. Watermark type options: Text or image-based watermarks
2. Font customization: Choices for font type and color
3. Layout controls: Ability to position the watermark in different areas of the image
4. Transparency adjustment: Fine-tuning the visibility of text watermarks

These features give users flexibility in how they apply watermarks to their images. The ability to use either text or image-based watermarks is particularly useful, as it allows for both simple copyright notices and more complex branding elements.

Upon activation of the watermark feature, it will be applied to ALL images, rendering the original images (without a watermark) inaccessible. We strongly recommend that you retain a copy of the original photo if it is needed.

Once activated, this setting takes effect INSTANTLY, and watermarks will be seamlessly integrated into all images. However, their visibility will only manifest within the "Manage Properties" tab AFTER a property page has been viewed by a prospect. It is noteworthy that the watermark may not become immediately perceptible to you, yet it will be consistently applied to property pages upon prospect viewing.
Please note disabling the watermark feature will exclusively impact newly uploaded or imported images, while any pre-existing watermarked images will retain their watermarks unless they are removed and replaced.
