How to Enable Lockbox Showings for a Property

To enable lockbox showings for a property in ShowingHero, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your ShowingHero account and navigate to the Properties page.
  2. Search for the property using its address.
  3. Click Edit next to the property address to open the Manage Property page.
  4. Scroll down to the Self-Tour Settings section and click to expand it.
  5. Under Enable Self-Tours?, select Yes. This will display the additional lockbox showing settings.
  6. Configure the days and times when prospects can schedule lockbox showings.
  7. Select the agent responsible for the showing and specify the showing duration.
  8. Select a calendar color to make the showings easier to identify on the main calendar or snapshot.
  9. Configure Auto-Cancellation according to your preference. When enabled, a showing will automatically be cancelled if the prospect does not confirm it within the specified timeframe.
  10. Enable Scheduling Restrictions, if required, and set the minimum and/or maximum advance notice for scheduling showings.
  11. If needed, enable Screening Questions and add the questions prospects must answer before scheduling.
  12. Under Lockbox Serial Number, select the appropriate lockbox from the drop-down menu.
  13. Enter or select the Lockbox Location.
  14. Choose whether you want lockbox showings to be the default viewing option for prospects visiting the property's page.
  15. Configure Geo-Fencing, if required. This security feature can restrict prospects from scheduling a showing unless they meet the property's designated geographic requirements.
  16. Once all settings have been configured, click Save to apply the changes.
