Google 2-Way Sync

We're thrilled to share that the long-awaited Google 2-Way Sync feature is available on ShowingHero.

Google 2-Way Sync is a feature that allows the synchronization of events between Google Calendar and ShowingHero. In this context, it refers to the synchronization of events between an agent's Google Calendar and their ShowingHero account.

With Google 2-Way Sync:

1. Events from an agent's Google Calendar are imported into ShowingHero.
2. Events created in ShowingHero are synced back to the agent's Google Calendar.
3. Any events scheduled on the agent's Google Calendar will block out those time slots for scheduling agent showings in ShowingHero, ensuring no conflicts occur.

Overall, it provides a seamless integration between the agent's schedule in Google Calendar and their showing appointments in ShowingHero, helping them manage their time more efficiently.

To use the feature, please log in to your agent account, and follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Click on 3 horizontal lines.
2. Click on your name. 
3. Scroll down to the Google Calendar Sync section.
4. Click on the Edit button which will open a section to enable it. 
5. Tick Yes to Enable Google Calendar Sync and then Enable 2 Way Calendar Sync. It will show you a button with the label Sign in with Google. Click on it, and it will take you to the login screen of Gmail.
6. Provide the email and password of the Gmail account whose calendar would you like to sync with ShowingHero. 
7. It will ask to grant access to ShowingHero for accessing your Google Account Calendar.
8. Scroll down and click on Allow.

Noteworthy, once the import is finished please press the Search button to view the updated events.

Please note that this option is only available for Agents. Calendar events are created only for Agents who are assigned to the showing, and they have enabled Google Calendar Sync for his/her ShowingHero account.
